The P310 packs Gen4 performance into the 30 mm M.2 2230 format used by gaming handhelds, ultracompact notebooks, and mini-PCs. Micron QLC NAND and a DRAM-less HMB design deliver up to 7,100 MB/s sequential read in a thermally constrained footprint.
For resellers, the 2230 segment is driven by Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and Surface-class upgrades where few drives physically fit. The P310 covers 1 TB and 2 TB capacities — doubling typical factory storage — with a five-year warranty. A 2280 variant extends the design to standard slots.
