01 — Overview

In the Solid State Drives portfolio

The 870 EVO is the benchmark consumer SATA SSD: 560 MB/s reads at the interface limit, V-NAND TLC with an Intelligent TurboWrite cache, and consistent sustained performance that made it the default recommendation for HDD replacements and office fleet upgrades.

SATA remains the highest-volume upgrade path for the installed PC base, and the 870 EVO's reliability record and five-year warranty keep it the safe stocking choice. Capacities run 250 GB to 4 TB in the standard 2.5-inch 7 mm chassis.
