01 — Overview

In the DRAM Components portfolio

GDDR6 is the installed-base graphics memory across GPUs, game consoles, and accelerator cards. Samsung supplies 16 Gb devices at speed bins from 16 to 24 Gbps per pin, with the 24 Gbps grade among the fastest GDDR6 in production.

Network processors, automotive ADAS domain controllers, and FPGA-based systems also design in GDDR6 for bandwidth that standard DDR cannot reach at comparable cost. The mature signaling ecosystem and broad controller support keep GDDR6 the default until GDDR7 platforms ramp.
