In the CXL Memory portfolio
The 256 GB CMM-D doubles per-module expansion capacity, letting a handful of E3.S bays add a terabyte of tiered DRAM to a standard two-socket server. The module runs on CXL 2.0 over PCIe 5.0 x8 with the same software-visible NUMA model as its 128 GB sibling.
Primary targets are SAP HANA-class databases, large Redis and Memcached tiers, and recommendation-model serving, where capacity per node dictates fleet size. Telemetry and RAS reporting integrate with server management stacks for production monitoring.
