01 — Overview

Micron's 96 GB DDR5 RDIMM is manufactured on the company's 1β (1-beta) DRAM node using monolithic 24 Gb die, avoiding stacked packaging at this capacity point. The result is a non-binary capacity step that lets operators right-size memory between 64 GB and 128 GB module tiers.

Micron positions the module for data center consolidation, in-memory analytics, and AI data-preparation pipelines. It runs at up to 6400 MT/s at 1.1 V with on-die ECC, and is sampled and qualified through Micron's standard server platform validation program.
