01 — Overview

In the DRAM Modules portfolio

Built on SK hynix's 24 Gb DDR5 die, the 96 GB RDIMM raises per-module capacity by half compared with 16 Gb-based 64 GB parts without resorting to through-silicon-via stacking. That keeps cost per gigabyte and thermal behavior close to mainstream modules while enabling 1.5 TB per socket on twelve-channel server platforms.

The module targets in-memory databases, virtualization hosts with high VM density, and AI inference nodes where memory capacity bounds consolidation ratios. Standard DDR5 RAS features, on-die ECC, and 1.1 V operation carry over from the rest of the SK hynix server DIMM line.
